I'm currently working on my dissertation for my degree in Computer Systems Development with a focus of cloud computing adoption in local government.  I have created this short survey with the intention of finding out how much cloud computing has been adopted within in local government and to what degree. 

In central government it is required to consider cloud computing solutions first, as part of the G-Cloud framework, when procuring a new system.  However, this shift towards cloud based solutions appears to be have been less of a priority for local governments. 

This survey will give an insight about how much cloud computing has been adopted in local governments, what are the benefits and disadvantages as well as what may impact its implementation.  All responses are kept anonymous and will only be used for the purpose of research towards my dissertation.
