My name is Matt Greenslade, a Preston North End fan and undergraduate at Cardiff University. I am currently researching the social and environmental projects that Premier league clubs are engaging in off the pitch, and am very interested in hearing what fans of the clubs think. 

Throughout the survey, the questions will help me better understand fan opinions on social responsibility engagement, which broadly refers to the voluntary projects clubs are undertaking to promote positive social change in the local community and further afield. 

I am hopeful that the research can be used to inform clubs where they should focus their efforts based on fan opinion, and to help improve club engagement levels to further increase the good work they are doing for their local community.
