2023-2026 Poverty Reduction Strategy Action Plan Survey -- EXTENDED to February 6th at 11:59pm

The City of Toronto’s Poverty Reduction Strategy Office (PRSO) is preparing the next 4 year Action Plan to support their 20 year strategy.

The strategy and most recent action plan can be found here. We recommend reviewing the strategy prior to completing the survey.

In 2015, City Council adopted "TO Prosperity: Toronto Poverty Reduction Strategy," to address immediate needs, create pathways to prosperity, and drive systemic change for those living in poverty in the city. The 2015 strategy was developed with extensive community input during the 2015 development phase and the 2018 update process.

Every four years, the PRS is updated and refreshed to build on the work of previous years and identify new and focused pathways forward.

The strategy contains 17 recommendations to be carried out over the life of the strategy.  These recommendations are organized into five pillars: housing stability, services access, transportation equity, food access, quality jobs, livable incomes, and systemic change.

The City of Toronto’s Poverty Reduction Strategy Office is currently preparing the 2023-2026 Poverty Reduction Strategy (PRS) Action Plan.

CP Planning, on behalf of the PRSO, is looking for feedback from individuals that work at organizations and groups working to reduce poverty in Toronto.

Please provide your feedback by completing the following survey. It will take approximately 6-8 minutes to complete,  but you can take as much time as you need.

All survey responses will be kept confidential. Only CP Planning researchers will have access to the data. Only aggregate, non-identifying data will be shared with the City of Toronto’s Poverty Reduction Strategy Office.

Online Workshops

After completing the survey, you will also have the opportunity to express interest in participating in an online workshop that will take place in mid-February.

If you are interested to participate, you can provide your contact information at the end of the survey.

While everyone who is interested may not be selected to participate in the workshops, all survey participants will have the opportunity to join a direct mailing list with the PRSO that will share updates about the update of the action plan and/or future engagement opportunities for the implementation of the action plan.

All selected workshop participants will receive a $50 honorarium for their time.

Please note:
